Everett made his way down to the riverbank, popping a fresh 10 gauge shell into his new shotgun. He figured this test of speed and accuracy was as good a crucible as any for the firearm.

Sergei decided to try his chance at the skeet shooting, it had been a long time since he last pressed a trigger, but he for what he remembered he was pretty good at it.

Round 1 (accuracy only)
Minimum roll of 80 required to pass
The crowd gathers as the shotgun enthusiasts (everyone) in Jackson wants to see the skeet shooting. Cesar is first, the pigeon is flung, and he takes it out with an easy hit. Everyone passes through, and while several are weeded out our characters all manage to survive the day. Cheering and libations are ongoing as the tourney takes place.

Round 2 (85+)
Jack: 121 Everett: 62 Sergei: 97 Ambrose: 58 Cesar: 104
Mr. Daniel is the winenr of the round, as he plugs three targets to break the logjam of contenders. Everett guns one down but misses the other two, as does Ambrose, and Cesar and Sergei manage to hit their targets, Sergei barely clipping his second.

Sergei, the crazy Russian, manages to win the competition. He gets twenty dollars and a fair bit of applause.
